Tomato Fest 2024

The 4th Annual Tomato Fest is happening Saturday, August 31 from 8AM to 1PM at Turner Pavilion. Gather to celebrate the resilience of our farming community and the joy of fresh, local produce with you! 🍅🌞

A packed day of activities is planned for this year’s Tomato Fest:

  • Chef Demonstration: SJ Starr of the Joshua Wilton House will be mixing up refreshing tomato mocktails.
  • Tomato Tastings: Sample a variety of heirloom tomatoes, each with its own unique flavor.
  • Curiosity Corner: Hosted by the Central Shenandoah Valley Master Gardeners, kids can enjoy hands-on tomato activities.
  • Beautiful Tomato Contest: Vendors and community members will enter their most stunning and tasty tomatoes—will yours win?
  • Giveaway Basket: Enter to win a basket stocked with vendor goodies and, of course, tomatoes.
  • Tomato Scavenger Hunt: A fun adventure for the kids!
  • Tomato-Themed Products & Recipes: Discover new ways to enjoy this versatile vegetable, or fruit?
