WMRA Books & Brews

WMRA is excited to partner with the Virginia Center for the Book and co-present this special November Books & Brews, featuring Evan Friss, author of The Bookshop: A History of the American Bookstore.

The guest interviewer will be be Aran Donovan, Assistant Director of the Virginia Center for the Book.

The conversation will take place live at Pale Fire Brewing Company and will available to watch later on WMRA’s Youtube Channel and on Facebook.

About the Book

About the Author

Evan Friss is the author of the New York Times Bestseller, The Bookshop: A History of the American Bookstore. He is a professor of history at James Madison University and lives with his wife (a bookseller) and two children (occasional booksellers) in Harrisonburg, VA.
