December’s Featured Artist at The Perch is Evangeline Schmuff, an 11-year-old artist who creates vibrant pieces using acrylics, pastels, and ink. Her work often features bold geometric women and is inspired by the people around her. For Evangeline, art is a form of self-expression that brings her joy. As she puts it, “My art is a self-expression, and when I create, I am happy.” Despite her young age, she’s already developing a style of her own.
