Come out for the 7th annual Beans & Brews Festival benefitting Bridge of Hope on Friday, August 2 from 4:00–8:00pm.
This fun, family-friendly event will feature locally crafted beer brewed up by Brothers and some delicious food, including classic “ranch” beans, which we’ll serve with pulled-pork sandwiches, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The benefit beer for the evening will be Cerveza Lime, a lime infused Mexican lager that is light, refreshing and perfect for the August heat. Brothers will also have 13 additional taps pouring with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options offered. Kids and adults will enjoy giant Jenga and cornhole, all while listening to the wonderful music from local singer/songwriter Georgia Saunders.https://linktr.ee/georgiasaunders
And best of all, all proceeds from this event go toward helping families in our community currently struggling with homelessness… a problem exacerbated by COVID and the rising costs of housing in Harrisonburg. Bridge of Hope establishes two-year neighboring relationships with these families, providing services so they can again become self-sufficient.
So come enjoy this evening of good food, good drink, good music, good company, and demonstrate the heart of our Friendly City by helping Bridge of Hope work with our neighbors in need.
