First Friday Art Gallery with Evan Wachter

Every First Friday, The Perch hosts an opening reception with the Artist of the Month in the Wing Gallery.
This August, we will be featuring Evan Wachter a his pen and ink-sketch, crosshatch illustrations.
About the Artist:
Evan Wachter is a freelance illustrator and artist, living in Harrisonburg Virginia. The art he makes is influenced by the stories he has read. Stories such as those created by Hans Christian Anderson, Edgar Allen Poe, and the Brother’s Grim. The illustrations that accompany them, the images these stories create in our minds, and the thoughts they inspire all added to his desire to create images that revolve around surreal imagery, fantastic landscapes, and wonderful characters.
