Open Scopes at the Arboretum

Explore the world we can’t normally see! Microscopes will be set up for you to look at tiny life in pond water, vascular systems of plants, hairs on the legs of a bug and whatever other tiny things we can find. Appropriate for fifth grade through adult.

Our younger friends can explore with our more sturdy stereoscopes, bug viewers and hand lenses.

(Minors under 18 must have an adult attend with them.)
