Furious Flower National Poetry Month Workshops at Edith J. Carrier Arboretum

Come celebrate National Poetry Month with our very own National Book Award Nominee, Dr. Gbenga Adesina! This generative workshop will explore complex family dynamics, our relationship to home and memory, poetry as a way to process grief, and the ghosts we carry.

No prior experience with poetry is necessary. We welcome the poetry-curious with open arms, and attendees are encouraged to engage at their own comfort level. Walk-ins welcome, but registration is encouraged!
