Lake Shenandoah at Massanetta Springs
There are about 2 miles of trail around this fishing lake: a good spot for dog walking and bird watching. An access fee is required. Lake Shenandoah is located just a few miles east of Harrisonburg.
Directions: Take left from Bruce St. onto Mason St. then right at the light on E Market St. (33). Continue out of the city to Massanetta Springs Rd. Turn right there and continue to the lake.
Lake Shenandoah lies a few miles east of Harrisonburg. Anglers have the opportunity to catch largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, common carp, channel catfish and musky from Lake Shenandoah. Other fun things to do include geo cashing, bird trails, easy walking trails and a pollinator trail for bees/birds and butterflies. Permit Required or valid fishing/trapping license
