A very special exhibit is coming to Furious Flower this February!
Oshun Rising, February’s First Friday exhibit, is curated by Furious Flower Founder, Dr. Joanne Gabbin, inspired by her affinity for the West African deity Oshun, the golden goddess of love and fertility. In this exhibit, viewers will be invited to contemplate love beyond the romantic and to consider the different iterations of that powerful emotion they have encountered throughout their lives.
This gallery is also curated in honor of Dr. Gabbin’s 80th birthday! Stop by to celebrate with us and enjoy this curated installation of poetry and art on Friday, February 6th, 2026, from 5 PM-8 PM at Cardinal House (500 Cardinal Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22807)! Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
This exhibit is hosted in partnership with the Arts Council of the Valley’s First Fridays Downtown Art Walk.
