DETAILS
This is a free play environment—guests are welcome to join a table if they’re comfortable playing, or simply observe if they’re new. Watching the game, learning the flow, and connecting with other members is a great way to get introduced to mahjong in a low-pressure, welcoming setting. While it is helpful to have some familiarity before joining a table, Laney will be there to support both beginners and experienced players. For those new to mahjong, she will provide a bit of background on the game, what to watch for, and help you understand the overall flow. For more experienced players, she’ll be available to offer guidance and light strategy tips as needed.

This is not a formal lesson, but it is a great way to introduce yourself to the game, meet members of the club, and enjoy a fun, social experience.
