Memorial and Flag Dedication Ceremony

National Vietnam War Veterans Day. We will celebrate and remember the day with the dedication of the new flagpole on court square and the unveiling of the new Vietnam Veteran Memorial.  For those not aware, there was a small stone marker under the tree to the east of the courthouse honoring some that died in Vietnam.  The marker, created before the end of the war in 1975, did not include the full list of those local boys that never made it home. This past year we have spent time making sure all names are correctly listed.
