The New York Times describes GRAMMY Award-nominee and Billboard-topping pianist and vocal artist Simone Dinnerstein as “a unique voice in the forest of Bach interpretation,” and it is easy to hear why. Her program, Solo Dialogues, is exactly that — an intimate conversation that weaves together Bach’s complete Fifteen Inventions and Fifteen Sinfonias with works by two of the greatest jazz pianists of the modern era, Brad Mehldau and Keith Jarrett. Bach’s elegant, intricate keyboard works find unexpected common ground with the harmonic richness of Mehldau and the improvisational spirit of Jarrett. Dinnerstein has played with orchestras ranging from the New York Philharmonic and Montreal Symphony Orchestra to the London Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale Rai.
