Smith House Galleries celebrates beginnings with two new exhibitions in January 2026: “Liminal Aesthetics and Hyperwave Exploration,” printed digital works by Adam Wirdzek, and “Art for Mutual Aid,” with sculpture, painting, mixed media, photography, illustration, collage, and fiber works by 27 area artists (including a special silent art auction, with net proceeds benefiting Open Doors and Arts Council of the Valley).
Thanks to exhibition sponsors Jeff and Darcy Tyrrell, both shows will be on view through Jan 30, with in-person visits Monday-Friday, 11 am to 4 pm (closed Jan 19). You can also visit during Second Saturday, Jan 10, from 10 am to 2 pm. The “Art for Mutual Aid” silent auction will take place Jan 2-23. For more information, check out valleyarts.org!
