We the People of the Valley Event

We the People of the Valley: A celebration 250 years in the making! Celebrate Independence Day with a family-friendly event packed with patriotic spirit organized by Massanutton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Rockingham County Schools. There will be Community booths, displays, activities, and birthday party refreshments. At 9 am the opening ceremony kicks off with Thomas Jefferson, General Lafayette, Martha Washington and the Shenandoah Valley Choral Society. At 10 am elementary student awards will be announced with middle/high school students presentations and awards to follow at 11:15 am. Organized by the local Massanutton Chapter of the DAR and Rockingham County Public Schools.
